Designed to highlight the best of the tourism sector in Kent, the awards will focus on quality, customer service, innovation and marketing. Entries are being sought from tourism companies in Kent during the next few months and the winners will be announced at a gala awards dinner to be held at Leeds Castle on October 4th.

Tourism related businesses both large and small, which play a key role in the county’s economy, have been given the chance to enter the different awards sections. These are:

•Best Accommodation (four awards for hotel, guest house and bed and breakfast, self-catering, caravan and camping park)

Some categories are by ‘self-nomination’ and judged by a special panel, while others will be decided by public vote.

These new awards are part of the Alliance’s multi-million pound campaign to promote the county as one of the top UK tourist destinations to attract more domestic and overseas visitors.

The Alliance is delighted to present the awards with cross channel operator Hoverspeed – a member of the KTA.
