For holidaymakers who may now be thinking of a trip to the Continent, Hoverspeed is offering an extensive range of promotional deals, valid to 30 June, on its new look high speed car ferry services from Dover to Calais, Ostend and Newhaven to Dieppe. Day excursion fares start from £35 for a car and up to 5 passengers and Early Bird day trip offers (Dover - Calais only) start from £39 return. Day excursions with a car to Ostend start from £55 return and £59 from Newhaven to Dieppe. Foot passenger fares start from £8 to Calais, £9 to Ostend and £15 to Dieppe. For cross channel travellers wishing to stay longer on the Continent, Hoverspeed has a new "off peak special" fare for a 5 day return from £119 return for a car and up to 5 passengers to Calais or Ostend only. Three day returns from Dover to Ostend or Newhaven to Dieppe start from £129 return. A new "Overnighter" fare is also available from £69 return (car and 5 passengers) to Calais and Ostend and £89 to Dieppe. Hoverspeed's new generation Superseacats, with capacity for 700 passengers and 145 cars, cross from Dover to Calais in just 40 minutes with up to 10 return sailings daily. Dover - Ostend crossing time is 2 hours with three daily return sailings.
