Based Newhaven

Hoverspeed restarted its Newhaven – Dieppe service in April, with a modern 81 metre SeaCat, and is running extra sailings from late May. As a result we need enthusiastic new customer care staff, to provide the kind of service that brings our customers back, time after time after time. We also need cleaning & security staff, to maintain our high service standards. In return we offer excellent salaries, generous travel benefits, and happy working conditions.

Above all you will like helping people: attentiveness, eye contact and a smile will come naturally, and your job satisfaction will stem from knowing that you have made a first-rate impression on the customers in your care. Good basic education and some relevant experience (e.g. in retail or hotels) will be an advantage, but what is important are the right personal attributes.

You must be able to start in early May 2001 and to work continuously, at least until the end of September 2001, with good prospects for extended employment beyond September. We will provide help in finding accommodation, and some financial assistance, for those who need to move to the Newhaven area.
